The Four Shades of Nursing Life

I know this is a bit "off" from what I usually post here in my space. It's just that, I'm at the heat of the moment with the loads of requirements and stuff that I have right now. And to match the pressure, I did this; so as to encourage myself to be strong and continue with this kind of life.
Sabi nga nila...sa Nursing, "Hindi ka lang pumili ng kursong kukunin mo. Kundi, pinili mo na rin kung anong buhay ang papasukin mo".To tell you frankly, nursing wasn't really my first choice to begin with. I really despised it from the very thought of me putting and indulging myself into it. Heck, I even cried buckets wanting to get out of too much pressure from 'choosing the right course'. Well, that was a few years ago!
Fast forward to the present (two years later), who would've thought that I'd be loving this whole nursing
thingy rin pala? After two fruitful years of community and hospital exposures, I've come to the point of realization that
nursing really is for me; and I'll do everything it takes to finish this!
Nandito na ako eh, so wala na akong magagawa kundi gawin kung ano ang tama...and that's to
finish what I have started.
Being Toxic...
Having Fun...
Fulfilling Dreams...
Touching Lives. The Four Shades of Nursing Life =
MY LIFE.And I'm loving every bit of it. Ü
[Lotsa thanks to my friend Margarette for photographing my kahibangans up there.]

Flower Pool
What if one really big pool gets to be filled with lots and lots of flowers? That would be so colorful, nice looking, and fragrant...just like heaven. Wait, ano nga bang kulay, itsura, at amoy ng heaven? Hindi ko din alam. Pwede mag-sorry? Haha!

Daybreak
"Daybreak" means at the beginning of the day, or when the sun starts to go out para magsabog ng liwanag sa buong mundo. Kaya nga "daybreak" eh. But contrary to its title, this photo was shot at around 6:30 pm/sunset of Ash Wednesday. Anyhoo, I reeaaallly don't care about how the title connects with the picture...as long as it looks like daybreak, therefore I named it "Daybreak". That's Hollywood! Haha!

Someday

I just thought I'd post this picture of mine. I'm wearing my favorite shirt kasi. And I think this picture makes me look less fat, that's why I like it! Hahaha! O ayan ha...walang kokontra! Haha.

The Future is Ours.
This was during our first day of community exposure for the second semester. It was one of those bunch of shots that came up while I was clicking the camera button away just like there's no tomorrow.

Gloom
The color blue symbolically represents peace and tranquility, right? This picture contains most of the "happy shades of blue". But why does it make me feel all sad and gloomy? That's rather odd. Maybe it's because of those eerie-looking buildings in our school.

Clear Skies
That bright Tuesday morning, when I looked up at the skies...I felt very refreshed. What a great way to start a very stressful day ahead! I hope everyday's like this.

Technicolor
This was the scenario during the opening ceremonies of last year's sportsfest in our school. We were hangin' around at the top of the new chapel when I took this shot. Love the colors!

Just Passing By
"I expect to pass through life but once. If therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not defer or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again." ~William Penn

Life in Full Bloom

This was taken during Kuya Paul's wedding (last year), held at the Immaculate Conception church in Sta. Maria, Bulacan. I was just fooling around with my camera (it was new back then), and when I reviewed the images, I liked how the shot turned out. Nice effect with the flowers and the blurred ceremonies. Thumbs up Raymond!

Gotcha!
Took this photo during the course of our community exposure in one of the barangays here in Puerto Princesa. I really like its cute and candid feel, plus the little girl's expression is so classic. Err...at least for me.

I love to take pictures of churches. This one came out as the most presentable and probably the bestest picture of a church that I've ever taken a shot of in my entire life. I used this angle because some of the church's exterior parts were already painted with white, making it partially lose its majestic antiquity. Sadness.

'Turo Turo - Silhouette' Photo Series

"The Happy Urban Life"
My personal favorite.
Kainis! Haha.*
"Part the sky with your finger"Hehe, nataon pang nakaturo pala ako sa empty space sa sky.
"Friends"
Kasama ko si Sadako.
"Pointing Apple"Wonder why the title is like that?
Kasi, mukha akong mansanas na nagtututuro.
Hahahahahahahahaha...
"I salute the sky"It is a way of thanking our creator,
who made every little thing in this world beautiful.

Aipeep

I was holding a rolled, designed folder and I peeped through it as if it was a telescope. With my left hand holding the camera, I reached for the other end and took a shot of my eye.

My hands were shaking involuntarily when the fireworks display was on for the opening ceremonies of the 'Paskuhan sa Kapitolyo' celebration here in our place. That's why the photos look warbly, twisted, or whatever you want to call it. Haha!
Some turned out good, and some were awful. Ah, basta ang mahalaga...nag-enjoy ako sa kakukuha nyan! Nakakataranta pala picture-an ang fireworks! Hehe.

I took this photo right after we got out of the school retreat house for our annual recollection. The scenery reminds me so much of the 'Wow Philippines!' ad. It's just so classic, relaxing and pleasing to the eyes. Anyways, if you're asking why I called this "Sabrena"...well, it's up to you to find out!!! Haha!
